My children's fantasy novel is finally out as an ebook, and in paperback!

Free Dachshund Pattern
In honor of my new novel, I've put up a free dachshund pattern on Craftsy.

My love of creating fun things to sew inspired many of the colorful creatures in Trinka and the Thousand Talismans. The character "Spout" looks sort of like a dachshund with a beret (even though he's part of a ship's bailing equipment). In honor of the book's publication, I decided to make and post this dachshund pattern. May it get your creative juices flowing!

Model Baby
With this Model Baby pattern, you can sew a simple doll that can wear real baby clothes.

If you have favorite baby clothes your little one has outgrown (or just need an excuse to pick out a few super adorable baby outfits), this simple doll can wear them all. With just an hour or two of sewing, this "model baby" is a great way to show off baby mementos, and fun to play with too. Older children can even help with the sewing, while young children can assist with stuffing.

The patterns for this doll give options for sizes preemie through 12 months.

Fruit Flaps Color Book
With a red apple, orange orange, yellow banana, green grapes, blue berries, purple plums, and pink watermelon, this soft, touch-and-feel book is sure to whet your little one's appetite for exploring different colors and fabric textures.

Each fruit has a peek-a-boo flap to encourage motor skills, and reveal fun faces inside.

Great sewing project for using up scraps!

Quilted Dollhouses
Quilted Dollhouses are real, three-dimensional dollhouses made entirely from fabric and batting. They're fun to play with, and also portable and lightweight. With 25 pages of patterns, the possibilities for colors, patterns, and decorations are almost endless.

Includes instructions for houses, additions and decorations, as well as furniture and dolls.

Little Dollings
These little beanbag dolls are fun and easy to sew. Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, the finished dolls measure just 5 1/2 inches tall, making them the perfect playmate to take anywhere. So simple to make, and a great way to use up scraps!
